Plowright International is an authorized provider of independent verification services for companies participating in Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS). We support plastic manufacturers, processors, and logistics partners in confirming their adherence to OCS Blue and OCS Logistics standards—ensuring transparency, accountability, and environmental responsibility.
We are not an implementer or internal auditor. Our role is to provide objective, external verification aligned with OCS requirements.
What Is Operation Clean Sweep®?
Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS) is a global, industry-led program designed to help companies achieve zero plastic resin loss in their operations. Its mission is to prevent the release of plastic pellets, flakes, and powders into the environment—particularly into waterways. OCS promotes best practices for handling, containment, and clean-up across the entire plastics value chain. Founded by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) in 1991, the program is managed in partnership with the American Chemistry Council (ACC)’s Plastics Division.
Companies that enroll in OCS Blue or OCS Logistics must commit to elevated accountability measures and are required to undergo third-party verification.
